I intended to spend nothing today, but my technologically impaired mother bought a new printer and kept calling me and asking for help with the installation. She used up all my cell phone plan minutes, so I had to buy more if I want to talk to anybody before September 27.

Chili dog combo from Sonic: $7.30
Chocolate Frosty from Wendy's: $1.04
Groceries from H&K: $13.95. One of my friends eats sushi, but is greatly disturbed by anything small and fishy. So I took a separate large picture of the smelt just for him, lol.

3 loads of laundry: $10.50. I was robbed. One of the loads decided that it was unbalanced but finished the cycle anyway; all the clothes were left soaking wet and required two extra dryer cycles at $1.25 each.
Return postage: $6.95. The jacket would have fit great if I were 2-3 inches taller and 20-30lbs heavier.
Pink's Hot Dogs: $9.45
Daily total: $26.90
September 6, 2013
No spending.
September 5, 2013
Lunch at Chick Fil A: $6.92. I always get the number #1 combo: chicken sandwich, fries, and beverage of choice which is always lemonade.
Sam's Club: $182.62. Huge environmental hit: I bought meat and seafood, the clothes were made in Asia, the facial cleansers are disposable single use wipes, and I traveled 35 miles to and from a gigantic box store in the San Fernando Valley.
Daily total: $189.54
September 4, 2013
Chicken tostada and Sprite from cafeteria at work: $5.99. The taco salad was kind of gross, and I ended up eating very little of it.
Daily total: $5.99
Total wasted: $2.50
September 3. 2013
Fish tacos from Bajamar food truck: $6.00. The tacos were excellent, but I started to exhibit mild allergy symptoms within 30 minutes of finishing lunch. It's the third or forth time it's happened after eating at a food truck that serves seafood. I suspect that I'm developing a shrimp/shellfish allergy in my old age, so future visits to seafood food trucks are probably out.
Groceries from Smart and Final: $43.41
Daily total: $49.41

No spending. It was Labor Day, and unseasonably hot in Los Angeles. I was going to go to the beach, but decided to avoid the traffic, crowds, and $12 parking fee.
September 1, 2013
2 loads of laundry: $6.00
Pad See Ew combo from O'Chai Thai Restaurant:$18.00. I had one with tofu and one with chicken: it was too hot to cook so I bought lunch for 2 days.
Daily total: $24.00
